Congratulations on your approval! It took a long, but I saw in your timeline you received a RFE... what did they ask for? It was the birth certificate of the beneficiary!?

Hey guys! 

Congratulations to the people who got approved and the ones who r still waiting, u'll get yours soon👍🏼.

so, i just got an email saying that there has been an update on the USCIS for my case is approved and they send my file to the NVC today. However, i've got my approval letter two weeks ago saying that they approved my case on Sep 1st,2017 and send my case to the NVC. So i m really confused. Does this mean they just send the file today or they were just lazy and updated it today?

So our case still showing "Received" online and we received today the response to our inquiry (we made before we received the NOA2 mail) which is equally crappy, just saying they sent us a NOA2.

We started calling NVC after 2 weeks still nothing in the system yet maybe we should call USCIS and check if they have sent it out?

 

One thing i can be sure is the NVC officers are really nice.

Anyone having similar NOA2 PD date (Aug 31) and have you received your NVC case number yet and in what format (mail or email)?

Hi Nattie, just hang in there a few more days.. id say at least till friday. I got my approval on the 25th and NVC received it 3 weeks later on the 14th. So maybe call NVC wednesday night

Oh thank you so much, i can wait for another 10 days since husband will be visiting

YES, my approval was the 25th of august, and status changed on the website and app to "Case approved" on the 28th. Then my case was sent to nvc on the 7th.. and the app and website updated on the 8th to "Case sent to DOS" and a week later.. the 14th they received it.. and 4 days later (TODAY) i got my case and invoice #s

I was sort of thinking maybe it's still not sent out from USCIS as the online status is still "Received"...
