Not surprisingly there is not a lot going on after holiday:

- 3 cases on Dec 16 sent to DOS

- 2 cases on Dec 16 sent Request for Initial Evidence

- 4 cases on Dec 22 sent Request for Initial Evidence

- 2 cases on Dec 22 APPROVED (what does that mean in a NOA2??)

- 1 case on Dec 27 sent to DOS

- 2 cases on Dec 27 APPROVED

Still nothing in Jan.

Has anyone else seen this?  It seems that TSC is reporting approvals from 2 weeks ago... May 19th is the latest but obviously,  they have been working on cases since then.  My hunch is that there are many unreported approvals.

Thoughts?

I think those are applicants who are going through DCF - they process much faster.

I saw yesterday on USCIS website that TSC is now the slowest (approving cases from September) but other centers are approving from October onwards.  Makes no sense.

Does anyone know why USCIS is showing that TSC is working on cases as of Sep 2nd but visa journey is showing Jan 8th?

The gov't statistics are always at least 6 weeks behind the current date and from what I can infer, they seem to share the most far back date they are processing (not counting a few outliers here and there) rather than the most recent date/priority date for the majority of current cases they are processing. Since a lot of Sept/Oct filers did get transferred to Texas, it makes sense that the stats from the gov't reflect that.

Interesting... if what you are saying is true, then it would explain why the USCIS website shows that TSC is the slowest but the Visa Journey "algorithm" is estimating it to be the fastest.  Perhaps the "reality" is that TSC is fastest, USCIS saw capacity there, transferred many cases and that created the backlog that led to a  USCIS reported Sep 2nd processing date (based on oldest).  My hope is that TSC is processing cases based on when they received the file as opposed to when USCIS received the file so that original TSC applications can maintain their processing order priority.

Thanks for the insight.

I really hope that is the case otherwise we are all going to find ourselves waiting a very long time and even getting transferred :(

Does the app you are using show all the USCIS cases or is it a subset like what we see on visa journey timelines?

App shows cases base on search, and there is limited search quota each time.

Approval result based on the cases i select to "Follow", so it's very limited.

'Approved' is the NOA2. 'Sent to DOS' is when the USCIS actually mails your case to the NVC

Here is the strange part:

All the cases i follow should be showing "Case was received", and the next day some will be showing Approved and some will be showing "Case sent to DOS", which i assume should be the normal procedure since majority of cases will move on to NVC. And NOA2 meaning case complete hence sent to NVC and then they start the DS261 etc. according to what other who has received it.

They cant skip straight to APPROVED can they? (This status is rare on the track result)
