If you don't get your case number within 2 weeks they will escalate it to a supervisor. They should take down the petitioner and beneficiary info to do that. Once it is escalated they will tell you that the supervisor has upto 6 weeks to create a case..mine was escalated on 23rd feb, still no Case #....so I don't know if it works or not..others say that it does

I was approved exactly 2 months ago, and I haven't heard anything from uscis 😔 7 months waiting for NOA 2, and it's not enough for them, 2 months since I was  approved and nothing? Are u kidding me? How long I'll have to wait just to continue with the NVC process?  I pray to the lord for the people responsible for the delay of the immigration process , they are forcing families to be separate and it's not fair.

Texas service center,  my case was sent to the department of State on February 1st, my attorney sent them an email asking if they have an invoice number for my case, and they just replied, we have to wait within 30-60 days :/ ...

@crmathew1 I am in the same situation. NVC received my case at Feb 4th. They told me that they backed up with all new uscis cases and will update on system by Feb 23. Then i called them and got it escalate to supervisor level where they took down all my info. However it is 11 th march still no case number or invoice number by NVC.

Hi Everyone i am in the NVC processing situation. Just trying to get the case number and Invoice number has been a challenge. I am all set with my NVC documents, and ready to go with my attorney.

NOA 2 approved date : Jan4th.

But I am in a dead end situation. NVC received my case at Feb 4th. They told me that they backed up with all new uscis cases and will update on system by Feb 23. Then i called them and got it escalate to supervisor level where they took down all my info. However it is 11 th march still no case number or invoice number by NVC. Did anbody else face this same issue with NVC.
