I m trying to prepare for next steps at NVC ... do u guys know which affidavit of support form is required for spouse

I- 864( by myself or joint sponser)

or I-864EZ( if I’m only petitioning one person and using my income only )

or it doesn’t really matter

I would write to the New Delhi consulate if I were you and inquire about this. I got an answer from them within a day saying that they only stopped K visas. And I would then contact NVC with whatever they write back and ask to change back to New Delhi if you really wanted it

Yeahh..I hope so! My case was received by NVC on 9 Feb..still waiting on a case number! We had put Abu Dhabi originally because my husband lives in Dubai but because Abu Dhabi has heavy delays for interviews (found out from VJ), we were going to request a transfer to Mumbai..So when I saw that post the other day I almost lost it lol jumping from frying pan to the fire? lol

Ok so TSC has updated their processing time for US.Citizen filing for spouse to August 1st....very awesome for all August filers....BESIDES our case still has neither been approved nor have we gotten an RFE and our PD date was June 1st. Now we did submit an online case inquiry which says we can expect a response by March13th....are they even for real?! March 13th is a whole month from now! They should be reviewing that RIGHT NOW and not in a damn month :( I am beyond frustrated and under shock that this happened. Anyone else still before August 1st and waiting on a response? Do you think if my husband calls again and doesn´t play nice anymore we have chances that they react more quickly?

You´re right. It still is past our PD date and I honestly have the weird feeling that our file has been lost by them because even when we talked to a Tier2 officer he could not tell us where our file is. The last one even told us that they had kind of a mess going on because offices have been moved....I am seriously standing beside myself right now.

I am visiting my husband in two weeks and their office is only about 30 minutes from where we live so if we do not get a reply by then I will absolutely go to their office in person and I will not leave that establishment until they can physically show me our paperwork so I know that they actually know where it is. -.-

...do you know by any chance when they changed it? Last time I looked it up before today was last monday and that day it still said "march 2nd" for their processing time...after that I did not check until today

Keep a close eye on their processing time information (not as me only checking once a week) So in case your date ends up being out of their processing time you can directly send an inquiry. I am so mad at myself that I did not check more often. I tought last week well they´re only in march now so for them to get done with June will take a while but apparently they only update every once in a while when they feel like it and don´t care about screwing people over.

I am so mentally exhausted from this process I can´t even find words for it anymore. My anger and frustration with USCIS is real right now.

I am so sorry to listen that. I don't know if you already did it, but if i were you I would ask for a congressman talk in my behalf. I am just waiting February to ended now and I will definately do that if I don't have any news. I have seen cases being approved after my pd, and although I am happy for them I want some news about mine.

We did contact the congressman 2 weeks ago but have not received answer yet. Which I am not surprised because first Texas is a huge state so I don´t even wanna know how many of these mails the congressman gets and second before their processing time changed our case was nothing special. We don´t have kids and I am not pregnant nor is there any emergency. Now with them updating this it´s different tho.
