If I were you, ask USCIS if they can provide you with a tracking no. Then use the tracking no. to see if the package has been delivered to NVC. NVC should take approximately 3 to 4 weeks to get you a case no., even though they say it takes longer if you ask them.

I called today and spoke to a tier 2 agent n they said they don't have tracking numbers for documents forwarded to NVC.. :-/ Called NVC and they havent received it yet either..I guess I should just wait another week?

If you don't get any RFEs sent back to you, is there anything we need to do (other than sit and wait) between the NOA1 and NOA2? I checked the website under my receipt number and it said:

On January 26, 2018, we received your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number XXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by February 25, 2018, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

There were no instructions other than just the receipt so I just want to check that there is nothing pending on my end!

Any help is appreciated :)

I got approved on the same day...on 02/01 i got an update on the uscis website n by email and text that it was finally forwarded to nvc...i called uscis twice n nvc almost every other day this past month since it was driving me crazy..uscis tier 2 agent told me it'll take upto 45 days n nvc keeps telling me 6 weeks n an additional 2 weeks to assign a case number..i will update when nvc receives it and when i get a case number!

Yes now the timeframe from USCIS To NVC is 6 weeks and 2 weeks to get a case number . This is pathetic and slow.

Is anyone waiting on the NVC stage? I have got approved since Jan4th and still have got no case number. its been 30 days already but no answer yet so far. There is no way to understand when will i get case number. Uscis says 30 days. NVC says 6 weeks and 2 weeks to get case number. Did anyone had these issues ?

My I-130 was approved on Jan 4th, 2018...USCIS updated the status online and sent me an email saying it was sent to NVC on Feb 1, 2018. So I guess I should wait a couple more days before they receive it although USCIS agents still like to say "Give it 30-60 days" like its no big deal..I don't know how this system is so broken! NVC at least tells you to just keep calling...USCIS agents have been so unhelpful so far..its pathetic

Hey everyone!

Our PD date is August 2nd, so we've been waiting 188 days. I know that they're processing cases from early July right now, but I'm wondering if it's worth it to call them and ask an agent what's taking so long? Or should we just wait until the end of the month/early March?

Thanks!
