i dont know what the RFE is, i recived before RFE for tax

and i already send the doctor vaccantinations papers, and am already over prverty line with 125% and more

and i already send everything with my papers like home lease, and everything else, i just dont know what its going to be but am sure am going raise alot of hell with the senator, cuz this e-mail i recived yasterday could be the AOS approval and am sure i send all papers, so in anyway i will be calling senator and raising hell on him and the USCIS, i need fuckennn rest from USCIS, i just got my work permission, and i wanna stop worrying and start taking care of bussinse

You should try to relax, you're going to give yourself an ulcer! There is no rhyme or reason for why the USCIS does what they do. You just have to roll with it and submit what they ask for. You don't want to abuse your ability to engage your Senator for help- you should choose your battles a little more carefully, IMHO. If you get stuck in namecheck or if 2 years down the road you still don't have your Green Card? THAT'S when you ask your senator for help. People get RFE's every day and they don't solicit their senator's help. I think their time could be used more effectively elsewhere.

For your sake and for the sake of the other people in your life, you should take a moment to breathe and relax!

Why would you raise hell with your senator? He/she has nothing to do with an adjuncter requiring more information to make a decision on your case.

I understand the wait is annoying, but you need to calm down. You got your EAD on time, your case is clearly being reviewed right now, and if they decide they need something that you may have already sent them to determine whether to give you your green card or not, why would you raise hell? Who cares if you've sent them the information before?? It's annoying and takes a slight amount of time out of your overall processing, but in the end, isn't it worth it?

Senatorial assistance really needs to be used wisely. The squeaky wheel gets the oil, but at the detriment to people who have been waiting longer than you. Be happy with your EAD. Find a job, RELAX, and give any information USCIS wants to them in a prompt and polite manner. You'll get your GC soon enough.

Hello all,

Just wanted to report that we received our Permanent Resident card today in the mail  . It's amazing and incredible! We literally could not have negotiated the K1, EAD, and AOS process without VJ. Thank you!

Here are some highlights of our EAD/AOS process for those still waiting (our timeline is updated if you want all the details):

Feb 20: EAD/AOS joint application arrived in Chicago

Early March: Biometrics

Mid March: Transferred to CSC

Mid April: Touch on EAD

(No other touches until May)

May 12-23: Numerous touches on both EAD and AOS

May 21: Received EAD in mail

May 24: Received AOS in mail (Two-year)

We did not receive any snail mail, but during the May 12-23 period lots of e-mails indicating "Approval", "Card Produced", "Card Mailed", etc.

We did have an interview scheduled for early May, but it was cancelled "due to unforeseen...." We went to the interview anyway, but didn't get interviewed, and I do not think it had any bearing on the eventual outcome. Thus, we did not have an interview prior to receiving green card.

Thank you all again. Your wisdom, support, and sharing were extremely important and helpful to us. Now.....our job is to continue to monitor VJ and offer any support we can. :)

Salaam
