We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by January 11, 2017, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

That online status is a generic one that's been going on for several months now. It's a bug in the system, your fees weren't waived so don't worry about it. It will only change many months down the road when your ROC gets approved/denied or if you receive an RFE. Expect it to stay like that for even more than a year if you're a Vermont filer or more than 9 months if a California filer. I'm a December 2016 filer and my status is also like that.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

Bug that's been going on for ages. I got this and I'm an October 2016 filer (and I have an interview). I was sent two tracking numbers. One has never worked, the other did, and my case said this up until I got an update.

No update as of yet. We still have some waiting to do for those of us who filed in December 2016. CSC is still dangerously backlogged and Vermont seems to be doing a little better. Some September 2016 Vermont filers are beginning to get approvals, while California is still roaming between June and July approvals sporadically though it's still trapped in June 2016.
