Hello, my petition was approved and I received the Approval Notice Saturday February 4th. 30 days came and went by but nothing. I emailed NVC on March 16 and am waiting for a response. I called today but heard about the high call volume and the call ended, I wasn't placed on hold. Is there some sort of a delay? Is there anything else I can do? Thanks, the NOA lists the Approval Notice valid from 1/30/2017 to 5/29/2017.

I don't know what's going on. BUT keep calling until u get ahold of them just keep trying it's fine. Now the morning shift is gone for the day. But keep calling. Ask a supervisor to call u back if u didn't get a good answer. It's going to be 2 months after approval and nothing yet. At lease they should say we will contact u for an interview. Best of luck.

Thanks a lot Basal, I know they should tell me something. I definitely won't stop cakking. The letter said to email if I didn't hear anything in 30 days, but calling is better IMO. Thanks again.

Try calling first thing in the morning.. Tell the  first person you want to speak to a Tier 2 Supervisor (Immigration Officer). They will transfer you, there will be a recorded message telling you the call back time is hours. away ... that's ok, most of the time it is faster and 4 out of 5 times they do call back... follow the prompts to leave your name and number, then keep your phone with you... If you don't get a helpful person - different from them not being able to do anything which may be the situation, wait 24hrs. call back and see if the next officer is more helpful.

Dee elle, thanks so much. I will try to call at 7am sharp and see what will happe. I will make that request and I will explain my situation. This is encouraging. Thanks again.

I called at exactly 7am. Finally reached someone. I was given the NVC case number and was told that they received my email. Then also the Embassy has everything and it was sent March 3. I was told they would reach out to me about anything else and I should call the Embassy. Since it's in Haiti I'll buy a phone card. I wonder why no one told me anything prior.

That good that u know now. They didn't tell u anything prior.  Because they love hearing your voice first. You now they appreciate  your call. Lol.

LOL, thanks a lot Basal. Next it's the Embassy I will call. Hopefully the end is near.

Hi, how are you? I was searching for information about the US embassy in Haiti and what to expect and I came across this post, saw your reply and thought I'd contact you. My I-129F petition for fiance was just approved and is being sent to the NVC. My fiance and I have started to gather all of the documents he'll need and trying to find information about the transition and what to expect. I was wondering if you could give me some info. What exact documents did you have to send to your husband? What is the interview like? What kind of questions were asked to your husband? How long does the interview session take? Please provide me with any information you think might help me. Thank you in advance!
