More than 4 months waiting fo EAD! Someone help me!!

I applied for the EAD on Dec 4th. I applied as an a(9) because it was before the AOS. I had my biometrics on Dec 22 and my case was transferred to California on Dec 14. On my case status on-line it says that my case was transferred to California and it was touched on March 11, but nothing else happens. I already lost 3 job offers because of this damn EAD. I tried to get an INFOPASS but it's almost impossible on the Charleston office. I also moved from Philly to South Carolina on March and informe d them about the move.

What shoud I do now? Does someone have an advice, cause I see everybody beeing approved but me....

04/12/07 - Infopass appointment. They sent an email to the California Service Center asking about my case.

04/12/07- Touched (seems like Infopass really worked)

04/13/07 - Touched

05/01/07 - Another infopass, this time he talked to someone in California who said that is going to approve my case and that I'll have my card in 3 weeks.

05/02/07 - Touched

05/03/07 - Touched

02/30/07 RFE received

03/22/07 RFE sent

03/30/07 Email notification saying that they received RFE and case processing has resumed

Adriana sorry to hear about your situation. So Charleston is very busy and you haven't been able to make the infopass? Have you tried calling the 1-800 number for USCIS? They say to call once 90 days pass and you have no EAD. Hopefully they will realize right away and get cracking on your case! Also do call them to make sure things are in order, especially with your move. Make sure things are being sent where they need to be sent.

Temporary EAD given for 1 month ONLY b/c of Infopass appt: 5/1/2006

Went back to renew EAD through Infopass: EAD card was not given "due to reasons we can't disclose"

5/3/2007: Confirmation that EAD is delayed due to background checks. (started to use the senator, ombudsman and was just a royal pain in the neck)

5/30/2007: EAD production ordered (after over 400 days of waiting!!! woo hoo!)

AOS Interview: 5/12/2008!!! FINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7/29/2008: card production ordered...918 days..can't wait to see that card!

Where in SC are you? I do Infopass in Greer, SC and don't even need an Appt. Send me an E-mail and I will send you directions to it.

How did you inform them of your move? I assume you did a Change of address form I-797.

Refiled for EAD 12-12-2006

EAD approved 3-04-2007

I-131-AP filed 2-18-2007

I have written both Senators of my state with no luck.

I have written my district congressman with no luck.

They all say it is out of their hands.

I even wrote GW Bush a letter asking for help , but got no reply.

What a pain this is!!! We filed the I-765 by mail and it was marked "received" on March 6, 2007. I look on line for the status, and it says that they are processing applications now as of December, 2006 (pending at the NBC...)! Welcome to America...now go home.

I am in Walterboro (Colleton County). If you can send me the address of the the Greer Office I would really appreciate. My email is dricafono@gmail.com. About the move they know my new address because they sent a letter for my address in SC to confirm the move.

About the Infopass, you just go there and they let you in? You don't need any letter or appt prove?
