Hi,

 

Was wondering if anyone had any info.  My spouse is waiting for their EAD card.  We were a little bit confused on the social security website what other documents are needed to apply once the EAD card is received. 

 

Does anyone know if it could be an issue if their passport is still in their maiden name?  We have a certified translated copy of the birth certificate and an original marriage certificate showing the change of last name?

 

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Passport can be in maiden name as long as EAD isn't and you bring marriage certificate. Those are the documents you need. You can also fill out the application at home before you go if you like and print and bring.
