Hello everyone! So I received an email from the NVC. It states:

MY NAME :

We reviewed the documents you submitted to us. This letter has a list of documents that are missing or that need additional information. Please review the instructions on the attached pages.

The instructions will ask you to either:

  •   Send the missing or corrected items to the applicant so he or she can take them to the visa interview.

  •   Send the missing or corrected items to the National Visa Center (NVC) and include a copy of the

Case Number Barcode Cover Sheet. Clearly write your case number GTM00000000 on the upper right-hand corner of every document you send. After you email or mail the requested information, allow us 30 days to review your response. When we complete our review, we will send you information about the next processing step.

Then theres is a barcode sheet  then another page that says

financial evidence then it says that it's gonna have a X

The last page says

ASSESSMENT LETTER for Financial Sponsor ____cristal_______________________________

Then it says

You must submit the following financial evidence:
[x] A copy of every W-2 form that relates to your________2015______________Cristal_____________ tax returns

So so does my husband have to have MY W2 or the sponsor w2? Also I sent them in. Am I gonna get a date for an interview or do I have to send this in to get one? Kinda lost any help would be appreciated!!!!

Your are the sponsor to your husband. Any other person you have used will be joint sponsor. Who's the name with "Cristal"? If it's you, they are asking for your W-2. If you had originally sent it, they might have lost or misplaced or you might not have sent all W-2s for 2015.

There should also be another paragraph in the same assessment letter mentioning whether W-2 is to be sent to NVC or to be brought by your husband during the inteview.

I have someone else since I didn't meet the poverty line. I have them I just want to make sure what they need. I'm Cristal it says the 2015 w2 and that's why it says in the first letter I copied and pasted. It's says that he should take it to the interview and it says to send it to the NVC. That's why I'm confused

The first page (content of which you copied here) is just saying the instruction will say either to bring the requested document at the interview or to send it to NVC. In the assessment letter itself or somewhere they will mention what to do exactly. Read the entire thing again. If still confused, post the entire contet, not just some, hiding the private info so that it would be more clear.

You are absolutely right! Haha I guess the nerves didn't let me read between the lines. Here's the other page:

We reviewed the Affidavit of Support form and supporting financial documents you submitted. While we will schedule your case for an interview, there is something incomplete or missing. This could affect the Consular Officer's ability to make a decision on your case.

On the attached Affidavit of Support Assessment Letter, we have put an "X" by each item you need to correct.

If your Affidavit of Support form needs correction:

  •   Fill out a new form online.

  •   Print, sign and send the form to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa

interview. Do not send the updated form to NVC.

If there are supporting documents missing:

Send the missing documents to the principal applicant so he or she can take them to the visa

interview. Do not send the documents to NVC.

After NVC schedules the immigrant visa interview, we will send you an appointment letter with additional details. You do not need to contact NVC or send us additional financial information at this time.
