I received the notificación above through e-mail from USCIS on 3/15/2017, as I've read, the NVC is now supposed to send a "welcome letter" to the petitioner, indicating the fees that must be paid and what's next on the process.

 

How long do they take to send this welcome letter?

 

If anyone could give me an overall resume on what's next that will be also well appreciated.

They will not contact you when they receive your case. You need to call and inquire about whether they have it yet. Once you get a case number then give over your email address and you will receive information from the NVC. Tip: they are open from 7am-12am it is best to call either early in the morning or late at night. During the day it is very difficult to get a person on the line due to high call volume. They close the line if there are to many calls and if you do get though wait time could be an hour or more.

I called after 2 weeks and got case number and invoice. 1 day later received the welcome letter on my email

It takes about 1-2 weeks for them to receive your case. I called NVC today and a rep stated 6 weeks but USCIS said it should take about a week.

USCIS Nebraska sent our case to NVC on March 13, 2017.

I received NVC Welcome Letter via email on March 25, 2017.  

The NVC Letter contained the Case Number and Invoice ID along with a generic checklist of what to send to NVC.

I just called NVC again and they still did not receive my case from USCIS, I'm so upset  it was approved on March 16th and still nothing.  Do you guys think I should call USCIS and request to speak to a supervisor?
