Well from my experience, the I134 did not expire but the DS230 and DS156 forms were expired and the embassy made my husband redo the forms (keep in mind that these were the forms that the embassy mailed to him) each embassy is different. Since you havent mailed out the I134 yet, maybe i would just redo it on the new form and mail it. That is just my opinion, i just wouldnt want to take any chance of having to resubmit to the embassy and delay you reuniting with your fiance.

Turboguy is correct. Good luck! :) M.

I'm getting the packet together to send to Ilyana for her interview on May 18th and I noticed that the I-134 form expires April 20th or 30 , i'm not sure. But anyway, what's the deal here? If I mail it next week, will it be accepted at the interview expired?

Ronnielee67,

It (I134) expires 04/30/07 but no new form has been promulgated.

According to USCIS website for acceptable editions of the form.

"Edition Date :

2/28/07. Versions 12/04/06, 7/14/06 and 6/17/06 are also acceptable."

So you're OK - no worries.

Ronnie, Coinidentally my fiance and yours will both be in the US embassy for their interview on the 18th, so small world. About your question, the I-134 is not a requirement for Russia and you likely wont even need it. I am not doing one. If they need it they will ask for it. This is what the Packet 3 says as well as the expert I have advising me on the Visa, and he has been 100% so far. I am in Moscow now but likley wont stay here until the girls go in. Best of luck to you and Ilyana.

I'm similar in the same boat. My fiancee has her interview in May 9th, but the forms expire 4/30/07. I still think it's okay though. They usually let up to a few months after that to accept (I think, but correct me if I'm wrong).
