Took me 40 mins on hold and as a rep was able to answer my phone hanged up due to insufficient balance. Loaded up and tried another 10 mins hold, i decided to hang up and waited around 11:45pm to call only to be answered by a machine that they are closed! Damnit! Am i this unlucky? Friday, the last time i called and my case is not even in review. 10 weeks this thursday and still nothing. CR1 but should be changed to IR1 .. So frustrating 😥😥😥😥😥

There are plenty of free solutions to call the US. GREAT for now and the future for friends and family to reach you..

If you can, try calling tonight at 7 pm your time. That's 7am at the NVC. Press any number to get connected.  I normally press 1 and 1. Get connected with a wait of less than 1 minute.

Good luck. :-)

I don't think that's quite correct.  Unless it has changed, 90 days prior to being in the country for 2 years you have to go through another process and they then review your case before they change it to IR1.  That means still keeping evidence of your relationship etc.

Edit:

Oops, I think you may have been referring to when you have been married for 2 years during the NVC process.  For that I don't know so just ignore me:)

10 weeks and a day for me now. If I don't get a CC today, I'll have the longest duration on the spreadsheet. Seems like no one has exceeded the 10th week.

Im from Philippines and i dunno what is NVC's issue with PH applicants .. 10 weeks this thursday and not even under review

There were some cases last month that were just under 11 weeks.. hopefully you will have your cc today. Good luck.

Could be Duterte's anti-US rhetoric? Or not. I hope not. I know someone (fellow Filipino too) who's on her 10th week and 6th day today. Still none as well. I hope you get an update soon too. Waiting is difficult.
