Just called NVC today, and was informed that case went to review department on May 8th (scan date March 28th). From looking at spreadsheet, 14 days (so far...) seems on the long side for the amount of time spent there, although there are a couple of 14 days, and a 13 day, also listed. I do have two separate cases going through that are independent of each other but linked (one petition for each parent) which may explain that length of time, but still a little concerned that it's taking a while.

 

Has anyone discerned a trend between length of time in review department and likelihood of a checklist?

 

Thanks for any insight.

I haven't but will definitely since March 20th SD got approval. I'm keep checking online but it's still the same.

Same with my case. I am checking every now and then. Just that afternoon is not the smart time to call them, we will wait till late evening.

 

online status changes only after few hours of actual CC. That's what I have known from people's experiences.

Yes PP is right, the portal updates within a few hours of a CC. Not sure on the amount of hours, but it's def within 24 hours.
