Mine took 3.5 months in Potomac. My husband being US citizen by birth I guess.

Me too, I was born and raised in the US. :-) Each service center has different processing times due to the volume of cases they receive.

WOW!!! Are you military? You flew through USCIS. :-) I thought cases in California got stuck longer than Nebraska (7 months in NSC for us).

No I am not in the military and I was pleasantly surprised also.  I tend to wonder if it was partially due to my having having Global Entry since my finger prints are on file and I had previously been checked and approved by the Department of Homeland Security.

That is what I am thinking.  Since when we  filed the  I-130 with USCIS, it includes the Homeland Security check.   If they searched their database they saw I  was already approved for Global Entry (and TSA Pre),and  on the safe flyers list.

By the way Global Entry is excellent.   After traveling internationally and returning to the US, you scan your passport into a kiosk and then go to a dedicated custom's line.  It also includes TSA Pre for domestic flying which allows shoes to be worn during the security screening and a special line.
