NVC Scan date of March 2017 IR-1/CR-1

Hello everyone

i called NVC today to check for updates the rep. told me that my case its in review and it should be any day now thats what she said. Scan Date March 16th.

im hoping it will be anyday now cant wait. hopefully no checklist.

I was informed that yesterday was the last day for June interviews, and that at the end of this week July interviews will begin to be scheduled (at least for CDJ). Also, I was told that the date in which the DS-260 is submitted is an important factor to determining when the documents will be sent in for review.

Great news! You're almost past the finish line   Here's hoping they speed things up. Can't wait to get done with this darn process and see my family!

yes me too, i have a 8 month baby her dad didnt see her yet it breaks my heart so i cant wait. its a very hard process i hate it .

Hi guys! Seems like my case just completed since the AOS column dissappeared and "NVC" appear when i check visa case status. My scan date is March 10. How long do you think i receive the letter confirming my schedule of interview? Thaanksss.

I feel you. Great for you its under review now, we got same scan date but still nothing.. My son has been wd hubby from his 2nd day of life till his 3rd week, my hubby went bck to US for work and until now he is 16months old, never touched his dad aside from kissing and huggingvthe tablet. Its heart breaking

Have you called NVC to confirm? When you have confirmed please update the spreadsheet maintained by @JBMG.

On the other note, I've called this morning to NVC and they said "there is a good news for me that the review department is working on my case and they'll let me know whatever the result is."

i can feel it you'd get yours the soonest.. but on my case, i contacted local rep, though they have been polite and all, but i got my CC before they make action, best of luck, in few days time you;d get CC, please try calling them daily

yeah,  

 

the interview went well except for the fact i made mistake, my schedule is 9:40am but was at the vicinity an hour earlier

was asked for DS260 and passport, have my stuff checked, making sure there is no electronic devices etc. 

 

then fall in line at window 41, the Filipino consul , who's in the pre-screening,

 

Consul: you  sent us  complete documents

and you submitted all Original EXCEPT this scanned NBI

we require Original, (i was so worried and ask, but will i still be interviewed? and he said Yes just please send us the original via 2go)

 

He asked me questions like  

- what's your name? and birthday?

- how are you related to the petitioner?

- what is his name?

- how did the two of you meet?

- how many times did he got married?

- have you been married?

- do you have kids? how about him?

- have you been to US? how many times?

- when is his last visit?

- do you have pictures together?

- when did he went to US as an immigrant?

-when did he got his naturalization?

please proceed to Finger Screening Window 43

 

After Finger Screening with the American who told me to first put my Left Four Fingers, then Right Four Fingers then two thumbs

he joked and said could you repeat that all again?; i said "Sure" with a smile,he said just kidding you may proceed to interview

 

then went to an American Consul window number 61

i greeted him " Good morning"  and he smiled and greeted me " Good morning, how are you today?"

then started the interview

- who is your petitioner? 

- what's his name?

- what do you do for a living?

- what is your husband's work? 

~then he jokes, ohhh so is he a bee? that's a work of a bee isn't it? (i just smiled and answered politely No sir)

-do you have pictures together? (showed / handed him a bindered documents and he flipped fastly the pages and said

"Oh he is really not a bee.. you guys look good together"

 

i said "Thank you"

 

then told me to register my address online on where they will send my visa and proceed to releasing

 

releasing area was asked for my number, name, address and told me to send my Original NBI 

 

hoping and sincerely praying that it wont cause any delay and will get my visa on Monday May 22 

 

please help me pray guys..
