Hey Tanish , did you get your interview date (Mumbai consulate) on the same day you found out your case was complete? If so, were you informed via NVC email?

Please update your questionnaire with your status.

I think putting the information for the march scan date in your signature would make more sense to us. As looking at the details for april scan date anyways irrelevant as of now. And i am sure there would be a different thread created by somebody for april scan date also. Your signature would defintely be useful there.

Its just a suggestion and i understand that you are making too much of effort for march scan date even though your scan date is 24th april (u are a 3rd last in the spreadsheet). I understand we inputting the details would definitely help you track down and anticipate the CC date for april cases.

Hello,

Thank you everyone who has been dedicated into keeping their questionnaire updated as it evolves. I add to it when I see great questions posted on the forum. Idea is to have one place to quickly access to evaluate where the NVC is with our cases. This prevents you from having to navigate through hundreds of posts to see who and when a cc happened or if someone is under review, etc..  But, it only works if you keep it updated. Please before posting on the forum with your update, update the questionnaire first. By doing so everyone can see where you are. It's encouraging to see your updates and it def helps in motivating us.

If you see others not updating their status, please encourage them to do so.

Again, thank you everyone for your contribution.

Had no idea that my signature included that info. I didn't have it activated. I've updated it now.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the response. When was your 8th week mark? People from here said that wait time only recently changed to 11 weeks (?). Last time I checked was maybe February or January. It was 30-60 days if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not sure if there's a letter (there probably is). The arrangement is the employer does everything by the local agency here (they own it so it's a direct hire; however, information is scarce sometimes). The agency only told me to submit the civil documents to them (the cover letter and everything else, plus employer's documents--they combined everything and they sent those on their side all together in one mailing). Manila, Philippines is the consulate I'm interviewing at if everything goes well.

NVC says - allow upto 11 weeks.

But on this forum CCs take an average time of 9- 10 weeks!

I have 2 questions

When a person get a checklist it mean they will get another scanned date which will be the new one?

after they received the checklist how do do they have to wait?  30-60 days like USCIS?

1. there are two types of checklist. 1) they ask you to bring the checklist items to the interview. in that case it wont delay your process. 2) they ask you to send them checklist items to them(the nvc), in this case, it will delay your process because you have to wait for another 9-11 weeks.

2. every time you send in new information/documents to the nvc, the clock will restart, so after you send in the checklist items, you will have to wait for another 11 weeks, which sucks so badly :(

good luck to you.
