When the NVC says that docs are in the review department means that the package has been moved and scanned again (bar code) from the "collecting dust department" to the review department, thats all the NVC customer service see on their screens when we call asking to check status, they can't tell if someone has actually a package on his hands reviewing it.. Sometimes they'll say is been reviewed and sometimes they'll say is in the review department which is the same thing

It's disappointing to see no progress on any case in last couple of days. 😞

Sam had a CC today. Also, @ajmac (April 3rd scan date) may have a CC too.. Still waiting for her to confirm with the NVC

But yeah, i would like to see more cases going under review at least..

On the bright side we have seen a number of cc's for the March scan single digit dates.  Hopefully next week we see some cc's for the March dates in the teens and the week after for the March dates scanned in the 20's.

Your scan date is 4 days before mine.  I am rooting for you.

I have 2 questions

When a person get a checklist it mean they will get another scanned date which will be the new one?

after they received the checklist how do do they have to wait?  30-60 days like USCIS?

My scan date was March 1 and my case was completed on May 8.  When I called NVC to confirm the CC the representative did

confirm that my case was completed and that the next step would be the interview in Ciudad Juarez.  He even said, "You guys

did a great job" - which I assumed he meant that all the paperwork was in order and there were no issues.  The next day (yesterday) I received an e-mail that said that there was a problem with the AOS (Part 5, section 8) and that the Mexican police certificate is needed.  The e-mail said that the interview will still be scheduled but that I must take the police certificate and the corrected AOS to the interview.

Hi again,

I've just updated the questionnaire with a new question. "What was on your checklist?" This will be very useful for all of us.

Can you update it to include:

Problem with the AOS (Part 5- Sponsor's Household Size section 8), Bring original Mexican police certificate.

Thank you.

I called NVC but with a scan date of March 24, it is not yet in review.  It would be helpful for all if you receive information that your file is in review, that you update the questionnaire even before you receive your cc.

Hoping we all receive reviews and cc's before Memorial Day weekend!!
