Click on the following links to check your IR-1/CR-1 visa case status:

Check My Visa Application Status

DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application

If it says "At NVC" and your AOS information is missing.. Then you most likely have a completed case (CC)... Please call the NVC to confirm.

See Example

If your status still reads "Action required: Submit requested documents", you can call the NVC to ask if your case is under review.

Please update the NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017  with your latest status.

  • If you have not received a CC or you are not under review, update your notes.
    • "May 26 - Morning - Called, still not under review"  (please put date first in your notes).

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

If you have lost your questionnaire, you can redo it, I'll delete the duplication.

Hello Beautiful people.

My scan date is March 8 my case complete May 18. My husband will be having his interview at Juarez Mexico July 6. We have a big problem now. :( I have a joint sponsor who did not file his income tax for 2016 so I do not have form 1040 from his side only 2015 paperwork and mine is 2016. Will there be any issue if I only take his 2015 tax paperwork and W2 & paystubs for 2016. Please advise if we should even go to interview. NVC does not want to give me any advice. Thank you for your responses.

Hi, def join the following forum and post your question there.  Meanwhile, my suggestion is to find another co-sponser ASAP to have as a backup..

Hi there! So… 11 weeks and 2 days today… I just called NVC and had a conversation with a supervisor… he basically told me that sometimes people have bad luck … he also told that he is moving my case to a “special reviewer” today (a person who only review delayed cases) so It must take another 2 more weeks… or 6 more weeks if there is a terrible mistake in our papers… (sorry about my English)

@JBMG I have updated my questionnaire. Please remove my previous (duplicate) response. I got my case complete last Friday!!! June 2!!! But still NO notification! I got tired of calling because of rude agents on the other end of the line, but managed to call today at 7:00 am exactly, got a nice representative, and found out. Thank God!!! No interview date yet. Thank you!

Very happy for you. Wishing you luck on getting your interview scheduled ASAP. You're now about 31 waiting for an interview date.. not sure what's going on there...

You can now join the following forum where others are also waiting for their interview date.

I sent i864 for me with return transcript and my dad's and mom's i864a with return transcript, checks from last six months, and individual w2. I never got any page with X mark. I don't think I should deserve to send another financial packet without their explanation about what was wrong with my first packet.
