need some advice

I will have my orientation to  work on 31st this month and some requirement is employment authorization document contains a photograph (form I-766)

where I can get this employment authorization? I came here in the U.S as a cr1 visa got married with my usc husband in the philippines

I have my greencard

I have social security already

I have myp texas id also

please help  need some advice thank you

If you already have your Green Card then you do not need an employment authorization.

Your Green Card is your work permit.

ROC Timeline

08/16/19: sent I-751 packet to USCIS Lockbox in Dallas

08/19/19: packet received by USCIS

08/21/19: received text message with case number ( Texas Service Center)

08/23/19: check got chashed

08/26/19: received extension letter in the mail

11/14/19: Biometrics appointment

04/28/20: case got transferred to my local field office in Atlanta

05/28/20: New Card Is Being Produced

05/29/20: New Card Got Approved

06/02/20: We Mailed Your New Card

06/03/20: The Post Office Picked Up Your New Card

06/04/20: Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office

Exactly as above. The green card is your work permit essentially.

 

They other document they may be asking for is if you have had to get an EAD (work permit).

 

Since you have your GC you did not have to obtain the EAD card.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

They might be talking about E-Verify; this is a sort of registration that verifies that yes indeed you are authorized to work in the U.S.

The site has a lot of useful info about your rights as an employee in the U.S., too.  

Your green card is indeed an authorization to work, but the company might be an E-Verify employer, and might want you to do that as a double-check on your ability to work.

thank you Ortolan, ben and zian,Becci391 its help me a lot I thought I will have an orientation on 31st. today I received a call from the company they ask me tomorrow for orientation and bring the requirement I ask some my friend here she got a fiancé visa and she said when she applied for adjustment of status she got also a working permit and green card she said its different  the green card and the working permit so I'm kind a worried.
