My husband and i just had the AOS interview at the NYC Office last Monday and unfortunately the officer told us that we will hear back within the next 60 days :(

I am a GC holder and my husband is a F1 visa holder, we have been married for about 2 years now and i have applied for i-130 and i-485 last year. We were waiting for our priority date and it has finally arrived and we were scheduled for an interview last Monday at NYC Office.

Our interview lasted around 10-15 minutes, we brought a ton of documents and photos but the officer did not ask for much. She just asked us the basic questions like how did you meet, when did you get married, when was the last trip you took together, etc.. I even asked her if she wants to see our itineraries and such, and she said no.

She then took 2 of our photos and asked us the dates and where they were taken. She put a note on the back of the photos.

She also said "oh you guys also submitted bank statements that go back a while ago"

She then asked for my husband's i-94 card and the new medical exam form.

She then went through the yes/no questionnaire on the I-485 application and asked one last question to my husband about us, but he got confused to he did not give the right answer.

At the end, she asked if we came in for an interview for the I-130 and said that she is missing my I-130 petition and needs to request that and see if i am eligible to apply for a green card to my husband. Our I-130 was approved back in May 2015. Is this possible?

Lastly, she said they will review and get back to us within the next 60 days.. now we are worried :( any ideas?
