Hello everyone,

first of all, i just wanna thank you all for your patient and your help for my situation. I appreciate all your suggestion and advice!!

Me and my husband started dating in Feb 2014. At that time, i just graduated from grad school and was under my OPT (from F-1 visa) in order to work. The OPT I had was only valid for a year and when it was about the expired, me and my husband decided to get married so we can keep our relationship going (we have been dating for about 10 months at the time). In order to be safe and legal, I moved back to Taiwan and my husband applied K-1 (fiance) visa for me. long story short, i moved back to the states via K-1 visa in May 2015 and we got married in June 2015. after months of waiting, I finally got my conditional green card in January 2016 which will expired on January 2018.  Because of the timing and money situation, we did not have time to have a wedding. My parents were furious about my decision of being married (that's another long story) so I was pretty lonely and didnt have much support but him. After we got married, we started to have more and more argument and conflicts. because of our parents' disapproval, our relationship just went down hill. in April 2016, i went on a girl trips with my two girlfriends for a weekend. when I got home from my trip that Sunday, i found out my apartment was empty. My husband moved everything of his away when I was gone. He told me he doesnt love me anymore and he needed some space. We didnt talk for about 6 months and reconnected again in October 2016. He told me he was very sorry about what he did and he wants to help me with my green card. I will always love him and care about him even though he betrayed my trust and lied to me ( I found out he was cheating on me after he left). As for now, I dont think we can get back together because whatever happened was still very hurtful to me even till this day. I do want to stay in the states because of my job. I came to the states about 10 years ago via student visa and has been building my life since. I truly love this place and people i work with. I guess my question now is whether i should get a divorce and apply removing condition by myself or stay in this marriage and apply jointly with my husband. i dont know which one has a better chance for me to stay and which one is taking shorter amount of time. He is willing the sign the paperwork I-751 and everything but we need to provide evidence of us still being "together". we no longer live together and he will be moving to California for work next month. If we decided to file the paperwork together what evidence is the best that we can provide? I am very confused and am not sure if I should get a lawyer or not. I would love to here your advice from different perspectives and all your suggestions. Thank you all again.
