Okay so she signs those two parts? why does she have to sign the acknowledgement  of the fingerprints and photos if shes already the american citizen? lol

She doesn't sign that part - YOU DO. You are the one getting fingerprinted etc. That is the PART 7, PAGE 7 signature.  That will be your signature.

Make sure you sign YOUR name on PART 7,  PAGE 7 where it says Petitioner's Signature or you will have it returned to you.

Dude are you punking me? Listen:  You only sign your name in cursive one time - PART 7, PAGE 7.  You are the ONLY one doing fingerprints, etc.  Your wife with sign her name in cursive one time - PART 8, PAGE 8.  She WILL NOT be doing fingerprints.  If you read your part on Page 7, it talks about fingerprints, etc.  If you read her part on Page 8, there is absolutely nothing written about fingerprints.

read the immigration wiki and guides for AOS available on visajourney..... look on the USCIS webs8te for all the information needed.

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process.html

Read read  and reread... then come back with any questions.... it is not simple.. but most do it without problems, just be thorough.

All im trying to figure out is who signs these two different but same things? its asking for someones signiture for the same thing but on different pages?

Anyone know if I, the conditional greencard holder signs those TWO places? or does my wife sign one? from what we read in the instructions my wife signs the one on part 8 and i sign part 6 but that doesnt seem right because why would she need an appointment to get her fingerprints and pics if shes the USC

Ahhh ok I see what you mean.  Yes I did sign that as the USC but only my husband actually does the fingerprinting etc.  The instructions mention this:

Biometric Services Fee.
1.
Conditional Resident.
Each conditional resident and conditional resident dependent included in the principal
petitioner’s Form I-751 is required to submit a biometric services fee with this petition, in addition to the required
filing fee. (See the
What Is the Filing Fee s
ection of these Instructions.)
2.
U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident Spouse.
If you are the U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
spouse, you do not need to include a biometric services fee at the time this petition is submitted. If USCIS later
notifies you that you must submit your biometrics, you will receive a biometric services appointment notice with
instructions on how to submit the additional fee.

So they are saying they could possibly want the USC fingerprints etc at a later date but I've never heard of one doing it.  I guess they just want your signature up front so if they need them they already have your authorization.

Nicknackzz44.  Go to the section on ROC in this website and READ everything about the topic.  After that please also visit USCIS, the i-755 form and the instructions on how to complete the form.  If after that you still encounter questions, then please ask the people in this forum.  Believe me I like to be of assistance but hate the lazy people that ask questions before they even try to do a little research. Be considerate of others please.  There is no need to now be in a hurry because you knew this day was coming.  Do not make your lack of preparation an emergency.

Okay yeah i understand, so my wife (US citizen) signs the one on page 8, and i sign the other, so if they need her to go for fingerprints etc then she has already signed it correct? so she DOES have to sign that part and the spouse part to the right of that on page 8...
