I recently became a citizen and my wife's F2A case is currently under document review @ NVC ( scan date mid Feb).

Does it make sense to upgrade my case or not without further delay?

I am expecting case to completed soon and transferred to Embassy.

Also,

Is it required to inform NVC about citizenship asap?

is your PD becoming current soon? because  NVC ia taking 11weeks to review documents. if your PD will be current soon i will leave like it is. to avoid further delay.

It is current now. But my lawyer submitted documents a month back after my case became current.

Please advice.

i will just wait for the case to be complete as F2A  it will be more quicker for the interview. call nvc to see if your case is complete already. you may get your interview by the end of this month is your case is complete. if you send the citizenship certificate to upgrade your category it will delay your interview date because right now nvc is taking 11 weeks to review documents.you are so close to have case complete.
