i'm trying to figure that out, given it's illegal in most places in the states. so how can it be responsible when it's illegal?

Legalized the Gandja!!

That way the drugs dealer would be out of business. But it would have to be under strict FDA under pharmacy prescription. But even now we have people dying from Prescription drugs, So i don't think that would totally resolve the issue. Once you have the money and the connection all you need is a prescription and a couple of doctors in your pocket. Look at Anna Nicole Smith, and even self center, self claim Mr rightheous Raugh Limbaugh are oversuing prescription drugs to get their high.

Gone but not Forgotten!

Oh.

Responsibility and legality are synonyms in the English language.

I didn't know that...

Sorry, but I think you have no idea what you're talking about. All speculation or hasty conclusions drawn from limited exposure...

All in all I think that many people would be surprised to learn who among their acquaintances are habitual pot smokers. They tend to lead pretty ordinary lives, go to work, get everything they need to get done done.

I am not speculating. I know. They are dumb because they are not scientists or an engineer. And, they don't earn high grades in school. Eventhough they live ordinary life, which anyone would be able to live ordinary anyhow, doesn't mean you have to be a pot user to do so.

Ok, confession time. Up until I took my present job I was a daily smoker. The only reason I stopped is because of the random tests I must submit to. While I am not a doctor or engineer I am doing exactly the job I always wanted to do and I dare say I am successful at it. My job requires analytical and logical thinking to solve complex problems. It also requires a good memory.

I have always kept my smoking at home, after work as any responsible drinker would do. I never went to work stoned and I don't drive while under the influence. I made straight A's in college and graduated at the top of my class.

There are people that don't do anything with their lives for reasons other than smoking pot. You can't blame the pot for their lack of ambition but you can blame it on their own lack of drive to succeed.

ITA, Gary. The highlighted portion would be what I would call responsible use.

It's effectively decriminalized in Ann Arbor, MI - you get fined something like $40 for personal possesion.

Hence the annual Hash Bash

Same thing in Madison, WI. Both college towns, hmmm....
