I dont remember I registered to vote but somehow I got the voting ID card in the mail so I assumed I was able to vote. SADLY I did vote. I don't know what to do now. I honestly want to come clean at this time. I moved here in 2013 never have any criminal records. Im jus trying to live a new life.

1. Check with state/county if your ballot was accepted and counted (esp if you mailed the ballot). If it was not accepted and counted then you are in much better shape. You may be able to check this online too. How did you vote? In person or by mail.

2. In either case, write to county to take your name off the voter registration.

3. Get proof from county how you got registered in the first place (as you don't remember it yourself) and

4. contact a very very good lawyer to discuss your options.

5. Read this article http://www.usavisacounsel.com/articles/i-am-not-a-u-s-citizen-but-i-registered-to-vote…-and-even-voted.htm. As per the article, there may be a chance for you to get citizenship, if it was a Motor-Voter fiasco or a mistake on a government official part to get you registered. You would need to collect proof how you got registered and show that registration/voting was done while relying on the guidance of a government official.
