Flying with My Cat from Morocco to the USA

I'm planning to fly my cat in a non-rigid carrier on the flight to Spain because she has to be in the cabin due to the small size of the plane. And then I'll switch her to a larger, rigid carrier to be put in the hold since the carrier is too large to fit under the seat during the long haul flight. I can't put her in a small one as she's a pretty large cat.

 

Thankfully, my cat doesn't get motion sickness. I'm also planning to give her something to calm her down and put some food and water in her large carrier for the long flight.
