Hi,

We sent our packet today at long last, but unfortunately I think we may have made an error. We sent it to:

USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

However, we used USPS first class large envelope, but we also selected USPS certified mail. We're worried that selecting certified mail means it should have went to the other address. And thus worried our application will be delayed. Can anyone confirm this? :(

It might....it is a done deal now. You have a quiet long journey ahead of you. I would not stress thing like that where you are out of control. Wait to see if your check is negotiated by USCIS, that a sign it got to the right place. They will eventually send you NOA1 thereafter.

Argh, off to a great start! Ah well, hopefully this is the only mistake we make lol!

Hi there,

I sent my application with usps certified mail with return receipt.

In my case, i can confirm that this way of sending your application slows down the process a little. Sent on feb 04, received feb 12th.(From Florida to Dallas)

The fact that it goes to a P.O Box is the reason.

It's worth the wait.

As for the address, the P.O Box i sent it to is 660060 which differs from what you indicate.

The address for certified mail is the same as for regular mail . It differs if you use Fedex or UPS.

Regards

On the USCIS website for the I-129F packet it states this:

Quote

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:

For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):
USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266

For FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:
USCIS
Attn: I-129F
2501 South State Highway 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

So rest assured, you sent it to the right address! USPS with the added "certified mail" service is still U.S. Postal Service.

I also sent our packet via certified mail to the P.O Box, and I am seeing the tracking delays other members have mentioned, since certified mail requires a signature. I wish I had sent it FedEx or UPS to avoid the delays while still having tracking information! Oh well. Despite delays, it should get there eventually, and I'm glad I have the tracking number to confirm it (or to follow up with a call to USPS if it's really taking too long).

The USPS actually lost it for about a week, but it now says delivered. If anyone sees this, I advise ups in the future.
