Hello:

I am currently undergoing medical tests for I 693 form. I have had pleural effusion 10 years ago and due to which doctors in India suspected/tested me for TB. Due to pleural effusion, my chest x-ray even today shows a scar that gives the impression to anyone looking at it for the first time, as if I have active TB. However, I was treated for latent TB 10 years ago with 6 months of treatment under DOTS strategy in India. Also in US they checked for my sputum and culture in 2015 and concluded that there is no active TB

MY question is, for I 693 how would this be considered by civil surgeon. Since they gave me skin test and the skin test result in positive. Any advice ? Would this impact negatively in my GC filing process ? Has anyone gone through similar situation ?

Please advise
