After interview in Juarez

We have our interview next month and what to know about getting visa packet from Dhl.  How long how did it take,what to expect. Any othe info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I had my interview in August of last year and asked for my package to be sent to my home town in the Quintana Roo. The interview was on a Tuesday and I was able to pick up the package on Friday morning of that same week. I thought the DHL was rather fast considering how far our state is from Cd. Juarez and it arrived 3 days later. But if you are planning to pick it up at the DHL in Cd. Juarez the wait time would be much shorter.

Exactly! After the consulate approved and issued my K1 visa, I was getting it three day after my interview at the consulate. The index or rate is 3 to 5 days after your interview. Good luck!

Thanks he is coming in on a 601 a. We are so nervous.  Did you find being a same sex couple you faced any overt discrimination during the process.

No, I did not. But I'm being honest with you, this is about luck too, sometime there are nice consular officials and ####### too. I had two interviews but it was because my case was different, the first official was rude and impolite, but the second time I had a sweet and polite girl as my interviewer. You are dealing with humans so they are sometimes in mood or not. But do not worry if you have all the right work paper they will issue your visa because you are doing all the legal paper they are asking for.
