Have her go to the local civil registry/ city hall, they will have that info readily available.

I want to book an appointment with us embassy of Philippines for affidavit lieu of certificate of legal capacity to contact marriage certificate for American citizen  how do I get it on line

After your appointment booked, don't forget to bring your divorce decree if any to show at ACS counter and pay $50 USD for legal capacity to marry. There is 10 days waiting if I'm not mistaken before you could get married. Your future wife needs to present her cenomar if she's still single or CEMAR previously married with annotation PSA marriage certificate shows null & void on the side of the certificate ( annulment ).

I didn't get married in the Phils, but it is my understanding that the marriage certificate must be recorded at the local registrar for where you were married.  Getting married in the town where her relative is mayor could help get things done quicker.

We had the Mayor do our ceremony.

You do not need a divorce decree to get your affidavit.

Hi this is what I did back in 2013 when I started my marriage journey in the Philippines. I only have a few weeks off from work so I booked an appointment online at the embassy so the day after I arrived I went straight to the embassy with a $50.00 postal money order got checked in and waited for like 4hrs to get processed and after that you need to go to the city hall to where you are going to get married and they will tell you there's a 10 day waiting before you can get married that's it. Good luck
