Notice of Interview came before EAD?

Hi again everyone, I love this place because of all the information that you guys provide. It's helped me and my wife through our visa journey for almost 2 years now!

 

Anyway, our Notice for the Interview has arrived and we're excited for that.

 

My question is that I was under the impression that the EAD will come before the interview date. Who or where should I contact to ask when my wife will receive her EAD?

If your AOS is approved fast then they will just cancel the EAD. Some are lucky enough to get their greencard before they even get the EAD.

Since you haven't filled out your timeline it's impossible for people to know where you are in the process and therefore hard to give you a good answer regarding if you can make a service request or not. We don't know when you filed or if you got any RFEs or anything else for that matter.

Oh ok, well I suppose that is the best I can hope for then right? I pray that the interview will go well, I'm actually more anxious about it.

I've been wanting to do the timeline too, I couldn't figure out how to though. 

 

Can you kindly direct me how to fill out the time line?

I hear you, I'll be very nervous if I ever have one. 

 

Not sure how the timeline stuff works from a phone, so I hope you're on a computer. You should be able to just go to your profile or maybe even the top of this forum where it should say create your own timeline (i remember having a big banner at the top of the forum telling me to get one). Even here right by your post, underneath your country flag you should see a link that says timeline.
