Correcting middle name question

My wife is Filipina and she adjusted her status two years ago. We amended her Philippine passport with her new married name. At the time we applied for her green card she used her mothers maiden name as her middle name which is customary in her culture. But when she updated her Philippine passport she was told she now has to use her sir name as her middle because she is married. She needs to correct her middle name on her green card to match her Philippine passport. She is going to be removing conditions in September and just realized they we need to fix her middle name. How does she go about making the change in her middle name and can she wait until she applies to remove conditions or dies she have to do it now?

thank you in advance
