I pray I don't wait 330 days!!!!!!!! That will take me all the way until Feb 21st!!!! YIKES!!!!! That would put us looking into Nvc a few months which really would put us into June or July to do interview so maybe next year this time he would come I don't even know what to say!!! I am on day 242 today!!!

Folks,

Lets stay positive. I have a feeling they will be approving at least all March applicants before the end of this year.

One month or so to go is not that long compared to the 8 months that have passed...it will go by real fast.

She is actually being very patient. Farthermore, she is the one who brings my moral up often. I am very grateful for her..She stongly believes everything will be done when its meant to be.

Thats great I wish I had that same thing!!! But my husband is very doubtful and it gets worse by the day he even asked me if I made this document up and lie about even applying!!!! I had all the faith when I started but the longer it goes the harder it gets trying to explain to him!

I just wanted to say to you and others waiting I feel your heartache! I found once I hit 8 months the process really started to mess with my head. Once I hit 9 months I  hit an emotional wall. If you are really close to your spouse as I am these months apart are very difficult. I think what's hard with waiting for the i130 is having no idea if they still have your file, wondering if you will get hit with an RFE and not knowing exactly when the approval will happen. How does anyone plan their life when you have no idea?

It will be a bumpy ride for some of you as you watch others with a priority date later than yours get approved. I was happy for the approvals but every time I would see another approval the process messed with my head. I would think is there a problem with my file? Why is mine not approved yet?

You can always refer your spouse to this page and he can see all the frustration. I wish US immigration would find a way to expedite all applications that have spouses living countries apart.

You can also file an inquiry if you do not get a response after they are beyond the processing time of your PD

You hit the nail on the there, acidrain.  I'm very anxious as we get close to hearing something that we'll be hit with an RFE.  It's particularly hard for us because for nine months my husband would come home to visit every 3-4 weeks.  After the summer though, his job made it so he couldn't do that anymore.  I was spoiled getting to see him so often, and now having to go months without seeing him is so very hard, and then add in the fear of being forgotten, file lost, or an RFE.  Ugh.

I am really sorry you have to deal with that in addition to the other things.

Although I understand he is anxious to see his son and be with his family for good, he shouldn't be doing that. I wish he understands how badly things have gotten and how hard it is for you too.

Does he read these comments at all?

Show him how frustrated everyone is whenever he starts his BS talks...Sorry, I can't stand whining!!

Hey March filers! So, after 8 long months with no NOA2, we finally heard *something* today via our attorney......but now I'm a little worried because it was something unexpected! Rather than just an RFE, they're requesting to see my wife at her local homeland security office for an interview in just 2 weeks time. Our case is processing at the Texas service centre, she lives in San Diego, so she has to interview in San Diego. I'm over in London, UK. So how weird is that request? We're a bit worried we're facing extra scrunity because we're a same-sex couple. Has anyone else heard of them asking for a pre-NVC interview rather than an RFE?! Or am I worrying for nothing?

Well the verbage they used was submit a legible photocopy of the legal termination of marriage.  I did I sent the exact same one that I'm sending today but this time I just got a certified copy and I'm sending it like that.  The RFE letter doesn't say that it has to be certified or apostille.  As long as it's legible.  But I thought mine was legible.  But then again I didn't send in my paper work my lawyer did.  But I'm sending this one back with the ok from my lawyer.

Omg thank u for letting me know! This info is really important to me because we have a similar case, but we sent the legal termination of the previous married with the "apostille" of the consulate of the country it was given.  I hope they don't ask for the same to us because I don't know what else we could send 😱

Got my approval letter in the mail yesterday.  OMG I didn't even look at my stack of mail I had till this morning and saw the envelope and omg was I nervous opened it and YEESSS approval. So with that being said,

They received my RFE on 10/31/17 and they approved on 11/21/17.  I didn't get an update on the UCSIS app or the website.  The UCSIS website hasn't been updated still says that they sent me the RFE and the app still says that it received my RFE on 10/31/17.  But yes we are so happy right now.

@Jacky U.  Unless I am getting this wrong, look at @Vazquez520 timeline.  It says NOA1 is March 6  :-)
