It may affect the financial affidavit of support and you have to find a spensor for the benificiary that can support him/her during their residence..I could be wrong.

This is true. The process still moves...but once you get to the NVC stage you'll have to show what your income will be...if you're still unemployed at that point then you'll need a joint sponsor.

TSC

Priority Date March 13

NOA1 March 15

NOA2 Sep 19

I've called NVC every week since and they still haven't received my packet. I called USCIS spoke with a tier 2 officer and was told the last activity was on Sep 20 (assuming that's when they sent me approval letter). She said she would send TSC a message and I should receive a letter in the mail between 15 to 30 days with a response from them. Also was told my NVC to email them a copy of my approval letter so they could further investigate. I'm trying not to panic but kind of difficult when I don't know where the heck my packet is:unsure:. Sorry for the long message, just don't know what to do at this point.

Where do you find a update i havent seen a update in over a month!

Jennifer,

They haven't updated the processing dates yet (usually around the 15th of every month) but what "Jacky U" is talking about is on the bottom of the page just under the table/chart which was changed to Oct. 31st.

Yay March thread! Mailed mine to Phoenix March 3rd, got NOA1 March 9th, priority date of March 3rd. Mine went to TSC.

Hi dear,

congrats for ur approval :) . I actually  was reading ur forum and looks like ur case is really on time, I just  called USCIS to follow up my Case for NOA2 (sent on  May) which is 6 months, and  I was told it will take longer because they are TX NVC  working on January's case :( I don't know why they say that. and why is getting longer than usual.
