Nope, unless you got some hook ups at the Nebraska center. We found out that 3 cases from PD march 9th got approved in april so basically a month. Its not expided or anything. Just plain blank says recvd march 9th approved april 17th and 2 cases april 26th. Cant be anything but hooking somebody up.

Thats my PD also but with HellBraska

Yes it's such a mess . I got married in January P.D March 6 . Soon it will be my anniversary and I still would be separated from my partner . I don't Know if there is anything we can do to make things faster at Nebraska . Also if anyone knows that can I visit my husband while the process continue on tourist visa or can I take a examination there . Please help

You can visit but if you get asked questions you will have to show ties to your home country and that you intend to return when your holiday is over. If you plan to overstay your visa that is fraud and you could be kicked out. My wife and I will be heading over the end of October for a two month holiday with her parents, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hopefully when we get back to Ireland my NOA2 approval letter will be in my mail box.

There is no way for you to take any examinations that are part of the process while you are in the US, they must be completed in your home country.

Please try fill in your timeline and country information, it is very helpful to keep the stats correct.

Best of luck with your visa journey.

Hey thank you for enlightening me about tourist visa .

However the exams I am reffering is about the professional course named Certified public accountant ,  I am enrolled with for which I can take examination at USA only . But not sure if I get visa for taking that examination while my file is still in process .  ( I can show my examination fee reciept and exam Hall entrence ticket as a proof ,if asked for ) .

Also , is there any effect if I am denied for tourist or any other visa for examination on my immigration process .

Hey,

Well my petition got approved  September 8th, and right away was updated to approved petition. Two weeks later (September 25th) USCIS updated to SENT TO NVC. A week later After i called NVC ( Yesterday October 2nd) i found out they just received it. NVC Told me to wait 2 weeks to get a letter with a case number.

If it has been two weeks then your husband can call the national visa center to see if a case number has been assigned.  (603) 334-0700.  Have him call in the evening as you won't wait as long online.

Should I be worried that it hasn't updated yet?

Yes, you are the beneficiary, and once the the paperwork is at the NVC, it is the beneficiary who takes the lead on the visa process as at this step it is you that is officially applying for the visa.
