Yea but who knows how long it takes to get from USCIS to NVC and then into the system. It took 6 weeks for USCIS just to send it. It's crazy another 4 weeks prob now. Think about it 6 weeks to send it another week to be delivered to NVC probably then another 2 weeks to get into the system..

so after 7 weeks, they finally received my case yesterday!!! hopefully things go more smoothly from now

My I130 was approved on 11/21/17 and on my USCIS app I got an alert today that my status has changed.  It says on January 5, 2018 my case was sent to the department of state :)

I called NVC just a couple of minutes ago and they gave me my CDJ and inv number which was done on 1/31/18.  What happens next?

Hi, great news. With that information you can log in to their portal and check when the agent form and the AOS and IV fees are unblocked so you could move forward. I believe that after checking a few times, the agent form was available to be completed but had to wait a couple of days to receive the email from the nvc, which unlocks the AOS fee. Then a few days later the IV fee was unlocked. After both fees are processed (completed) you are able to fill out the ds-260. You could start gathering the docs needed for the AOS and IV packages in the meantime. Good luck.

Our case received by NVC on the 26th of January.

Hello I am happy for you. How did you get the case number? Did you and beneficiary receive email or mail? What is the next step? My case was approved on 01/31 and now waiting to hear from NVC. What should I do?

My husband called NVC, he was told they received our case since 26th of January. They told him to call back next Friday for the case number and the invoice number. Fingers cross 🤞
