Every advice or hint that can make this waitingprocess shorter is welcome, so thank you JBMG!

I am definitely struggling in this long long wait. Seems that we don't see eachother for at least 3 months now and it's really horrible too be so long without eachother.

Has there been any movement in TCS, where are they at? DiamondEyes are you up to date ?

Hope everyone is hanging in there!

Mr&Mrs G., it just sucks period. At least you and your wife are together in Ireland (silver lining!)

I at least hope the VJ estimates prove to be accurate, so we can all get some idea how to plan our lives accordingly. I did see some Potomac approvals that were consistent with the VJ dates, but, for whatever reason, people in that SC seem to be better about updating their timelines than others.

The good luck is much appreciated and needed, it is such a slow painful process. We like everyone else here are ready for the next part of our lives and just want to move on.

Having access to a timeline I am not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, it's like the old saying "a watched pot never boils"

it eventually boils but you feel extra pain in the process, right?

I feel that it's both a good and a bad thing, since this process isn't as straightforward as we'd hope, and things don't always make sense. Every center works at a different pace, and every case is different. Maybe it gives you a little bit of consolation knowing you're not alone in this? I know it sounds silly, but a lot of us are going through the same thing so we are all together in a way!

The forum is an excellent source of help and information, some very genuine members. Chances are most of us will be active here for about a year during the process that it will be hard to leave behind once are applications have been fully processed. I would like to think that I will stick around and be active and who knows maybe help someone else in the future with their journey.

that's pretty much what I think! staying around, trying to help others and making friends along the way. It's a pretty cool silver lining <3

I don't recognize myself anymore... being without eachother for long periods seems to cuts off my oxygen and I can't motivate myself to anything. I hate it but I can't get over it either so I do the only necessary and am wishing that this year speeds by fast.

hey!  first of all big hug your way. Second: I know this probably won't make you feel better, but every time I'm super down like you are right now, I try to think of the positive aspects  that can come out of this exhausting, frustrating horrible process. Stuff like:

1. I get to spend time figuring out things on my own/be independent

2. I can try to be a better person so I'll be better in my relationship

3. I get to have a lot of conversations with my husband

4. I am spending more time with my family which I won't see a lot once I'm in the U.S

5. I'm doing traveling and volunteering work on my own

6. You get to be ''selfish'' only this time. I get the bed all to myself, I eat what I want, rewatch shows

7. You get to spend more time with friends

8. And if nothing works: then work work work. I just throw myself into my work!

Think of it like, emotional prison. You get to do things you wouldn't, it's not a pretty situation but try to make the most out of it because 1. It won't last forever, and 2. It will make you, and your relationship stronger, which will make it all worth it in the end.

I'm here for you!
