It IS SO DISCOURAGING. I JUST got my approval notice, it was in the mail when I shamelessly let out my frustration on this forum lol so I'm hoping yours is in the mail too!!

Wooo ,

Congratulations bro 😊😊😊😊 so happy for you

Now let's start the NVC phase and get this over with once and for all

got approved a month ago and still hasn't been sent yet. I really thought i was done with this slowness.

How do you know it hasnt been sent? I called USCIS because its been a month for me also but i was told by tier 2 office that it was sent after it was approved but NVC hasnt received it yet. Ive been calling NVC once a week and like Tier 2 officer said they havent received it. But he assured it was sent.

I called and a tier 2 officer told me it wasn't sent. When did you call USCIS? and when was you approval?

I was approved december 12th. I called friday and the first person that answers kept on telling me that the latest info they had was that my RFE was received. I finally was transferred to a tier 2 officr who told me it was sent out but i have to allow up to 90 days... ridiculous.. for it to arrive and be received at NVC. I hope he didnt lie.

it only takes a week or two after the documents are sent out for NVC to receive it and input it into the system. then it takes some time to assign a case number to it. I would call again this friday but keep in mind monday was also a holiday.

Side note: i find it funny that we we were both approved on the 12th and i also called last friday to talk to them.

Yeah i dont understand i find it weird thats its taking so long. Ive seen other cases on here where two weeks after approval their documents were received. I called NVC once a week after i was approved but now that its been a month the lady at NVC told me to call USCIS and ask if it was sent out. So i did and i was told it was.. im doubting now cause the tier 2 was kind of mean and i asked several times if he was sure it was sent and again he said yes... but now i will call thursday because friday im flying to see my wife. Man.. i hope he didnt lie.

Both California and Texas are known to take long to send out their docs to the NVC. It just sucks that they take forever to do these things. i would think they would like to get rid of us as quickly as possible.

i think they want it to take long. the longer it takes, the fewer immigrants will be reported as entering.......the whole process takes on a whole 100 days longer than it did a year ago based on the charts here...from 300 to now 400 days...by the time we're done it will be 500 or who knows?!
