No mails or update on case status yet . 

Hi , 

Case status in USCIS has still not been updated , no emails either to me or my husband ( petitioner ) .. only the mail ( letter ) recevied on 12/02/2017  that's it . 

 

Can any one guide what should I do , My course of action ,  How much should we wait etc

wait for further directives on your NVC information when the file reaches NVC, get your tax transcripts ready, payment ready so that once you get the payment notice you go in and pay then turn in requested NVC paperwork. remember the earlier you turn in your NVC paperwork the earlier your case gets completed and moved out to the overseas consulate. Congratulations and i'm happy for you. I'm still waiting, PD March 31

No need to worry or care about online updates. Around the 20th call the NVC and ask if your file has arrived.  The USCIS has been slow to update stat case statuses for a number of months.  What matters is the letter you have in hand.

Would love input from senior members regarding out situation. I helped my wife immigrate 10 years ago, and she has been a US citizen for 6 years. We petitioned her mother March 2017 with a receipt date of 4/3/17. I do not ever remember waiting this long for any of my wife's paperwork previously. We have not heard anything. To me this case was as easy as they come, a slam dunk. Any thoughts on our situation? Please? Thank you in advance!

Its hard!!! The wait used to be alot shorter but now it seems to drag on and on but it also depends on which center you was transferred to!!! Nebraska is the longest wait time period!!!

me too, keeping my fingers crossed! although some members have reported NOA2 showing up in their mailbox without their online being updated or getting an email or text from USCIS. wishing everyone a blessed week.
