Hello,

 

I entered the US on a K1 visa and I am filling out the paperwork for AOS and had a few questions, if anyone could help out.

 

1) On the I-485, on page 2, it asks for place of last entry and says "city, state". I was processed into the US at the Toronto, Ontario airport. Would I put Toronto, ON, or the first city that I was actually in the US?

 

2) I know a copy of the biographical page of the passport and the K1 visa page and entry stamp should be submitted. However, should I  submit a copy of every page of my passport? I have no other visas or stamps in my passport other than the K1 visa and the entry stamp for it, so every other page is blank.

 

3) If submitting the EAD and Advance Parole application with the I-485, does a separate G-1145 need to be submitted for each of them?

 

4) Do I need to submit two pictures for the I-485, EAD and AP? (6 total?)

 

5) On the G-325a on the top of page 1 it asks for a file number and says it begins with A, is this the Alien Registration number? I just wanted to make sure since it usually specifies Alien Registration number and specifically asks for that at the end of the document.

Actually the new i-131 doesn't ask for photos. So now it's 4 photos.

And would you happen to know the answer to my first question, about the question on page 2 of the I-485, where it asks, "Place of last entry into the United States"...If it would be fine putting Toronto, Ontario (where I went through pre clearance at the Toronto airport). Thanks!

Not very sure about that... but i think you should send an attachment for that while filing Toronto?

I think only the bio page+ K1 visa and entry stamps.

only one is needed.

from the AP instruction, 2 identical pix are needed. There are six pix in my package but if USCIS is gonna issue a combo card, i guess four pix are enough?

It does still require photos, here is a quote from the instructions:

 

"Photographs

a. If you are outside the United States and filing for a Refugee Travel Document, or if you are in the United States and filing for an Advance Parole Document: 

  1. You must submit 2 identical color photographs of yourself taken within 30 days of the filing of this application. The photos must have a white to off-white background, be printed on thin paper with a glossy finish, and be unmounted and unretouched."
