Hi please I need help from who have experience with  this issue

my case is complete now waiting my interview but they asked my joint sponsor on the checklist  they want  W2  tax returns for the year 2015 and he don't have it for 2015 only 2016 so what should we do now find new sponsor ( maybe we have no time) or wait till the interview and go without but scared to refuse because of one paper

Hi thanks for your help, We have for 2016 but when they sent the checklist they asked also for  2015  tax returns

Why does he not have 2016 return ? Not filed yet or does not need to file.

If you go to the interview without what they ask, it will stall until you give them the correct information...either the current joint sponsor 2016 tax paperwork or a new joint sponsor I864. Either way it sounds like they want 2016 return, so whichever way you go the joint sponsor will have to have already filed for 2016

I think it's a good idea but I'll make him call them to ask what he can do cuz it's headache to find another sponsor we almost done with it

No you were perfectly clear when I reread it    it says exactly what you meant and not wnhat I read!,,,

Yes, recheck with the joint sponsor as it is easier if it can be dealt with this way.... do they just need you to take the 2015 W2 to the interview?  We had a similar request to take paperwork to the interview rather than send it back to NVC

Good luck!

Yah hopefully they can help us cuz I don't have any other joint sponsor

yes they said I have to take it with me to the interview plus the form I-1864a contact between sponsor and householder , plus I have experience with checklists got it two times  the first checklist  the whole form was missing IF the whole form missing  BE CAREFUL you have to send to them but in case the form was incorrect or forget to fill any part they'll say case complete and give it to the applicant to take it to the interview

i hope you got me good luck to you too
