Diffrent email on ds260

Hi our previous ds260 expire at embassy stage  .now embassy open our ds260 to submit with new passport information as old one is expire and sening valid passport with ds 260 confirmation page.we need to know my wife now useing diffrent email id then old one given in (expire ds260 ) can we write new email id on ds260, so any embassy email can go to her new id if embassy sent her any email.

please guide.
