Hi our interview is on 13th April in Buffalo, NY. Can anyone share their experiences??? Regarding documents at the interview, for i864 my spouse submitted with employment letter and other stuffs on 20th Jan. My question is will we need to bring that employment letter again???  Please share your valuable experiences.

 

 

 

Adjustment from F1 status

01/18/2017  Mailed package I-130, I 485 AND I-765

Day 1 : 01/20/2017-USCIS received package

Day 6 : 01/26/2017-received NOA1 through text

Day 13 : 02/1/2017-received N0A1 hard copy

Day 15 : 02/4/2017-received Biometric Appointment

Day 28: 02/17/2017-did Biometric Appointment

Day 35: 02/24/2017-i485 case status changes to ready to be scheduled for an interview

Day 47: 03/08/2017- status changes to Interview scheduled on 13th april

Day 49 03/10/2017- received interview letter for 13th April

Day 83 04/13/2017- approved...case shows new card is being produced

Day 88 04/17/2017 received  hard copy of approval notices for I-485 and I-130 

Day 88 04/17/2017 Online status showed New card was mailed

Day 91 04/20/2017 Received Green card in mail !!! Total 3 months

Yes you'll be required to bring originals of all documents submitted on the interview. Chances are they won't ask every single one of them, however; the interview checklist requires you to do so just in case the officer does. Go to "office review and Info" on the menu section, then "consulate and USCIS office review" to get interview experiences from members in local USCIS field offices nationwide.

8/14/2014: Mailed AOS package: I-130, I-485, I-765.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

8/25/2014: Received biometrics in mail. Scheduled for 9/8/2014

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

1/28/2015: Interview scheduled for 3/4/2015.

1/31/2015: Received interview notice.

3/4/2015: Interview completed and APPROVED!

3/5/2015: Welcome notice mailed and I-130 Approved.

3/10/2015: Welcome notice and I-130 approval notice received.

3/12/2015: Green card mailed.

3/14/2015: Green card delivered.

Removal of Conditions: 

12/14/2016: Mailed I-751.

12/19/2016: NOA issued.

01/26/2017: Biometrics.

05/03/2018: I-751 transfered to NBC.

02/27/2019: Joint I-751/N-400 Interview.

05/14/2019: I-751 APPROVED.

Naturalization:

12/02/2017: Mailed N 400 to Phoenix, AZ Lockbox. (I-751 still pending)

12/05/2017: Package delivered in Phoenix, AZ. Transferred to Harrisonburg Processing Center.

12/07/2017: Notice of action issued. (IOE)

12/26/2017: Biometrics.

01/23/2019: Interview Scheduled for 2/27/2019.

02/27/2019: Joint I-751/N-400 interview. N-400 recommended for approval.

05/16/2019: N-400 APPROVED! Placed in line for oath ceremony.

05/17/2019: Oath ceremony notice mailed.

Thanks. I submitted the original employment letter from my spouse company. However I made a copy of the letter. Should I bring the copy, or ask my spouse to get a new employment letter again??

Thanks a lot. Also the lease letter i submitted along with application I made a copy of the letter. Should I bring the copy or ask my apartment lease consultant to give me a new letter again?

Hi,

One last question,I am thinking to take some junk mails, like magazine which has the name of me and my spouse and also plan to take cards that we gave each other while dating. My question is can I take all these apart from the legal evidences?
