How big is packet of paperwork

Hey guys, i'm at it again.

So as i'm gathering all my documents, evidences, and standard paperwork together, there are a lot of paperwork to be sent with the applications.  My viber chat logs by itself (only from December 2016) is 640 pages already.  I printed it both side but it's still a thick packet, this is not to mention other evidences like pictures, or zalo chat log too.

What I want to know is, is this normal that you guys actually sent all of these with the application?  If this is the case, it's like i'm sending a box.  I'm not sure if that's convenient for the USCIS office to keep on their file or not.

Can you please let me know what you guys usually do?  Or any recommendations?

I know this is in the Vietnam section, but I've gone through the K-1 process, too, so I'll leave my comment.

640 pages of chat logs? Yikes, that's insaaaaanely excessive methinks, they're not gonna read it all, if anything they might just pluck a few pages out of it, read it, and call it a day. We sent in about 5 pages of key points in our chat logs, about 10 photos (not of the same event, all from different events and times. It even showed us both gaining some weight over this timeline, eep!), a couple of screenshots of our call log on my iPhone, copies of all my and his itineraries to show we've been visiting each other over the years. Approved no problem.

Also please fill out your timeline if you can, when you're able to :)

That's a lot of printouts, IMHO. I don't think a CO would want to read through that. Personally, I'm providing (at the interview stage) at least one chat screenshot from each month we've been together, which is already pretty large and probably overkill. I believe Vietnam is a bit harder to get through than Philippines, but that's just too much.

Thinking about it now, if I was the CO and I received that much in chat logs, I'd probably be like "NOPE, nope nope, not even gonna read it", RFIE it and request relevant evidence, so sending in TOO much info can be bad for you and delay your case for no reason. Just send the stuff that matters most as I've detailed in my previous post.

The other issue with front loading with too much evidence is that anything you submit can be used against you. The CO could pull a few pages then ask about it in the interview.

THIS! Very true, didn't even think about that! Don't volunteer information you don't need to. OP I doubt you combed through the 640 pages yourself, and if the CO lands on a page where you two might be fighting or something, that could very well be used against you.

My i-129f package was the size of a FedEx Overnight Small Box, which included about 30 pictures of us and our engagement ceremony/reception, about 30 double-sided pages of chat, Viber texts, and emails, and other bills/receipts. You do want to front-load your I-129f package, but not overwhelm the CO ;)

Here is my packet I sent off. I didn't count the total # of pages, but I think I had about 22 pages worth of chatlogs (1 sided but 2 columns per page). I showed a day or two worth of conversation per month since we had met. I also included screenshots of facebook posts, facetime sessions, and screenshots of us video calling each other.

Some people send more some people send less, but I felt comfortable with what I had sent. Like others stated 600 pages is overboard :)

If you have any questions let me know!

The entire chat log would be too much.  That being said when I went through the K1 process many moons ago (HCMC)  I submitted a sampling and got blue slipped at the interview for more evidence.  At that point I killed a some trees and sent a couple of years' worth.

Send a reasonable amount with the initial package and you could then print the whole thing out to take to the interview.  No one can know for sure.
