Visa Medical Exam - Denmark

My husband (DK citizen) scheduled his medical exam today and they were told that it would be approx 500USD, unless "Something Comes up".  Does anyone know what "Something" could be?   He is a relatively healthy dude, and Denmark has free healthcare, so I can not think of anything that would require him to get treated at that dr vs his primary?   

 

Just wondering if I should send him a buffer amount to be safe!

"Something" would most likely be missing vaccinations. If your husband has all his vaccination records, there should be no problem. If he doesn't, get them done at his regular doctor/clinic/pharmacy (presumably for free) before going to the medical.

Ok awesome!  He has those all done and ready!    It just seemed like a strange thing to say to him.
