Hello @Mrs. CN welcome!

Have you heard anything yet? Different offices have different processing times.

I'm in Los Angeles and had my BIOS taken on March 31st and still waiting for an answer. My lawyer is going to the USCIS office to check on the status of the application.

Come join us in Facebook the group it's called Parole in Place, you'll find similar cases there.

Good Luck!

@marly_g Did they take your BIOS again? I hope you get approved this time.

Keep us updated. We're all kind of in the same situation ;)

Buena Suerte.

@Joselyn No, I haven't even received a receipt notice. I'm hoping to get approved also, just wished it wouldn't take so long.

Good Luck to you also!!!

This is my timeline so far for parole in place

On February 27th I got married

In the beginning of May we sent the parole in place application (I-131) for anyone trying to do this you have to physically write down "parole in place" in section 2 of the application.

May 27th they received my case and waived my fees.

In July they gave me an appointment for fingerprints.

And finally September 27th came for my pip interview and it was approved ! :)

next steps from here is to apply for the I-485 and I-130.

Did anyone apply for a work authorization through pip?

I am scheduled for my PIP interview and would like you know what kind of questions they ask?

It's so easy. I was freaking out that they were going to asking me questions about me and my husband like when did we meet and stuff like that but all she asked me was if my name, address and date of birth were still the same as on the application. I was asked to bring my marriage certificate and passport and she made sure it was me. Next thing you know she was like that everything looked fine and was going to get my parole paper ready :)

Thank you so much! I’ve been freaking out about the interview as well and was trying to find something online about the type of questions they asked and couldn’t really find anything, but you just made me feel much better about the whole situation! Thank you so much

No problem !! I feel like once you have an interview notice for pip you're most likely going to get it. It's like they just want to confirm it's you. Good luck !
