Hi, so we're waiting for my Fiancé's medical to be sent over to the Kingston embassy. I checked my case status online today and it updated today. I don't check everyday but the last time I emailed them, it updated as well, March 2nd. Does it update on a daily basis or only when they've received/done something pertaining to your case?

It only updates when they have worked on your case.  Best wishes!

Omg thank you!! I'm hoping that means maybe they got it today. Our interview is next week and I'm trying to have everything in line because I can't afford to make this trip a second time

I hope so too.  They probably did since your status changed.  I know the waiting is horrible, but trust me, it will be worth it in the long run.  I can't believe my husband has been here 2 years already!  Seems like yesterday I was picking him up at the airport lol.

I just read your timeline. That's so awesome!! It's great to see couples still together and in love after the process is complete?

It also updates when you email them.  The updates could mean they are working on it or that they just responding to your inquiry.  You have to just reason it out.  Good Luck!

Thank you! The medical hadn't been sent but I haven't emailed them in a while so idk what thee update was about but I'm not gonna worry. Just gonna pray on it and trust God. His interview is in 2 days. We will know soon enough?

WE GOT APPROVED!!! His medical was sent over on Friday and the interview was Tuesday (yesterday). It was a very INTERESTING experience. Definitely nerve wrecking and the officer was mean. Most of the people he saw, had a hard time with him. He really only asked us when we met, how long have we known each other, what did he like about me, give SPECIFIC examples of the qualities he just mentioned, and then told us it'll be ready in a week. He didn't even look like he wanted to give it to us, honestly. "So after meeting one time and being together 6 months, you decide to get married? Who proposed to whom?" That was his remark after telling him we got engaged in October of last year. Looking at his face at that point, I was sure we were not going to get approved but we did!
