Green Card Holder Traveling - Family Name Question

Hi everyone,

 

I'm visiting my home country Belgium soon with my European Passport. I am a green card holder.

I just noticed I booked my flight with my new last name, as it is on my green card. (I got married and took his family name)

But my European passport still has my maiden name on it.

Will this cause any problems you think? It's so confusing I don't know what's right and what's not.

03/02/2015: filed I-129F at the USCIS Texas

03/13/2015: received confirmation (Form I-797), file will now get routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. We wait :)

what do you mean with you dont believe it will work the other way around?

Do you mean they might give me a hard time getting back into the USA?

The airline might not check you for departure because the name on the ticket is different from the name on the passport. Call the airline.

I second this. Ticket needs to be issued in passport name.
